GRAND RAPIDS MUSICIANS' LEAGUE STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purposes for which this corporation is organized are to promote the study and appreciation of music, to outlying areas; to foster the musical interest of young people through affiliation with the National Federation of Music Clubs and sponsorship of Junior Federated Clubs, scholarships to summer music camps and music competitions; to enhance the cultural opportunities available to the residents of Grand Rapids and outlying areas; to solicit, receive, administer and hold funds and properties exclusively for the corporation's purposes and to deal with the property of the corporation in such manner as in the judgment of the Board of Directors will best promote the corporation's purposes; and to exercise every power that is consistent with the corporation's purposes and within the authority of a non-profit corporation organized under the provisions of the act.
